The challenge

Create an identity for an ethnic wear store without relying on predictable cultural symbols or fashion cliches. The brand needed to feel rooted in tradition while carrying a distinctive personality of its own.

The approach

A custom Hindi wordmark became the foundation of the identity. Instead of adding an icon, the logo itself tells the story. The flowing terminal stroke is inspired by the movement of a dupatta, bringing grace, fluidity, and femininity into the mark while keeping it simple and memorable. The maroon and cream palette adds warmth, heritage, and elegance.

The outcome

A character-rich identity that feels unmistakably ethnic without being literal. The logo balances simplicity with expression, giving the brand a unique visual voice that is graceful, culturally connected, and easy to remember.
