Terms of Service

1. The agreement
By engaging K-Design ("we", "the studio") you agree to these terms. Every project is confirmed in a separate Statement of Work which takes precedence over this page where the two differ.
2. Scope and revisions
The scope for each engagement is defined in writing before work begins. Two rounds of revisions are included by default. Additional rounds are billed at our hourly rate.
3. Fees and payment
A 50 percent deposit is required to begin. The balance is due on handover. Invoices are payable within 14 days. Late fees apply to overdue invoices.
4. Intellectual property
Full ownership of final approved deliverables transfers to you on final payment. Working files, unused concepts and source assets remain the property of the studio unless expressly licensed.
5. Credit and portfolio
The studio reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio and submit to awards and publications, unless you request confidentiality in writing.
6. Third party assets
Licensed fonts, stock photography and plug-ins are billed at cost. You are responsible for maintaining their licenses after handover.
7. Cancellation
Either party may cancel an engagement with written notice. Fees for work completed up to the cancellation date are payable in full.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the engagement in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad.
